My "Wife"

Today is a very sad day for me. I will be letting go of my beloved car of 9 yrs. I took real good care of the car, polishing it in the initial few bachelor yrs, clean and repair/improved on whatever flaw that it has. The car has really serve me well and not once had it let me down except when the radiator couldn't stand the pressure of going up Genting. I really love the car. I just love the sound it crank up every morning or the first time I start the car. Though its a carburetor car, it perform very well and exceed my expectation. My previous old '79 Honda Civic wasn't that reliable. It had many times fail me and left me stranded by the roadside. On certain morning or most of the morning I had a hard time cranking it up. It just wouldn't start and it always give me the sound of carburetor.....cccreankkkkkk

I will truly miss the car. The smell, the cooling air-con and the spaciousness. Not sure how am I going to get over it. To add salt to the wound, when I try to get the salesman ( Mr.Willie Tan) from Went Soon Auto to sign a form that I had prepared to note/clarify that the said transaction had been done at this time and date and etc he was not very happy about it. I mean what the F%$#% . He can ask for my IC and verification and etc why can't I ask from him. The problem with dealing with all this dumb ass and idiot is there are not aware or still at their old hats. They will never change and think the way business is done is by being monopolistic and individualistic. That's why his business can't grow and remain the same for so many years. They can look for a living earning a few thousand a month and occasionally during the good old times many many thousand just for doing nothing. During the good period of thriving car business, money just flow easily for them cause they play with the market and also manipulating customer.

In this period of 21st century those dumb ass are beginning to wane. Consumer rights are rising but still a long way from develop countries. Better than nothing. After getting his signature and his IC no on the pcs of paper (2 copy) I can feel his uneasiness. Well, I raise the right point to him and the hell I care whether he likes it or not. I want to protect myself and what happen if something goes wrong and you think he will not point the finger at me easily. Tell me was it right to sign form without the transaction date not being mention and etc. What happen if his runner or him met with an accident in my car ? It is just pathetic sometimes to even think what is inside their head. Either they are pretending or forcefully trying to ignore whatever request that you may have.

Woman

Woman (not plural),....there are interesting and yet irritating. It just get into your nerve. I don't mean to be bias and etc but from my experience I just can't figure it out why some woman can just shoot words out from their mouth without going through the head. The reason I said this is cause yesterday I was totally piss off with one of my colleague who incidentally was a woman. Though she has a degree in EE, top of her class with good ample results, it just does not reflect on her at all. I'm beginning to wonder how on earth does this people go through their uni with a breeze while I on the other hand was not so lucky. Imagine a 40+ something lady with a renowned degree who has not heard of google nor how to use the computer. I mean how stupid can you be. Before you make judgement about her computer literacy let me tell you she's a late boomer who only completed her first degree Aren't those form the basic of her education and thought. He thinking are so narrow that her only aim in life is to get marry, have kids and have lots of money. She has no intellectual thoughts at all that was till she met me and I started slowly to educate her. However occasionally........probably most of the time she still gets on my nerve.

When you see your boss around or whatever, be smart and don't la talk so loud about other people secret and etc. Do I need to tell this to her like ABC. Its so common sense but sadly to say I don't see many people that I know have that. I don't like cursing people but sometimes it really piss you off when you meet woman who are slow, no common sense and loud mouth. Of course luckily for me I am not marry to a woman like this. I have to say this cause not sure whether my wife will be dropping by to check my blog here. :)) Indemnify myself

Anyway, back to the main point. I just hate dumb woman. No matter how pretty, beautiful and etc they are I would never like dumb woman who has no common sense. I just cannot tolerate them. They always surprises you with their anecdote and antics. If I don't want to tell my stories or keep a secret of something pls respect my wishes and don't act dumb like you don't know. That's why I mention perhaps they don't use their brain power much but most often than not their boobs to do the talking. I hope I don't have to meet these woman too often. It would really kill me. No hard feelings to all woman just those that I happen to encounter.

Jumpstarting A Car

My Dad's car couldn't start. So I had to either jump start it or dismantle/take out the dead battery and charge it. Below is a jumstarting method which I find useful.

Battery acid, or electrolyte, is a solution of sulfuric acid and water that can destroy clothing and burn the skin. Use extreme caution when handling electrolyte and keep an acid neutralizing solution—such as baking soda or household ammonia mixed with water—readily available. When handling battery acid:

Always wear proper eye, face and hand protection.
If the electrolyte is splashed into an eye, immediately force the eye open and flood it with clean, cool water for at least 15 minutes. Get prompt medical attention.
If electrolyte is taken internally, drink large quantities of water or milk. DO NOT induce vomiting. Call a physician immediately.
Neutralize with baking soda any electrolyte that spills on a vehicle or in the work area. After neutralizing, rinse contaminated area clean with water.

To prepare electrolyte of a desired specific gravity, always pour the concentrated acid slowly into the water; DO NOT pour water into the acid. Always stir the water while adding small amounts of acid. If noticeable heat develops, allow the solution to cool before continuing to add acid.

SAFE BOOSTER CABLE OPERATION

When jump starting a vehicle, always wear proper eye protection and never lean over battery.
Inspect both batteries before connecting booster cables. Do not jump start a damaged battery.
Be sure vent caps are tight and level.
Make certain that the vehicles are not touching and both ignition switches are turned to the OFF position.
Refer to the vehicle owners' manual for other specific information.

Connect positive (+) booster cable to positive (+) terminal of discharged battery.
Connect other end of positive (+) cable to positive (+) terminal of assisting battery.
Connect negative (-) cable to negative (-) terminal of assisting battery.
MAKE FINAL CONNECTION OF NEGATIVE (-) CABLE TO ENGINE BLOCK OF STALLED VEHICLE, AWAY FROM BATTERY.
Start vehicle and remove cables in REVERSE order of connections.

Lately, had been surfing the web quite often because was trying to find more info about my computer motherboard and system spec. Last Sat I finally manage to upgrade my computer DDR SDRAM to 1.2GB. I was looking high and low for the PC2700 (333MHz) memory module and couldn't find any at all in the local market. Wherever I call the usual answer was no stock, outdated and no longer selling. Was quite disappointed cause I know that its still very common on the net and I could actually ask my bro in UK to order and get it for me. Most of the memory online site are selling and making free delivery in the US and UK. I wondered why there is none over here in My ?

Anyway, after making many calls, found a few shop in Low Yat selling only 512MB of that speed. But I needed 1GB cause then I do not need to dispose of my old DDR of 256MB. Desperate and excited with the whole upgrading chapter, I decided to pay a visit to a local computer store recommended by a friend. I called frantically to ComputerWar early in the morning but couldn't reach anyone. I decided to email them to see any response. After more than 2 hrs of no response I went direct to their store. One of their technical guy attended to my needs. He was a young and arrogant guy. Cause he thought he knows more that me and therefore didn't want to listen to my advice at all. In fact I had did all the research and technical know-how and etc already. Just wanted his opinion and to try the new RAM using 400MHz (PC3200). He didn't bother with my comment and shove me aside. The first thing he mention when he saw my m/b was, no way system cannot support 2GB RAM. I was stun and said what the F^&%k. The m/b spec data sheet clearly mention the system can support up to 2GB. You mean to tell me ASUS is lying ?

Reluctantly, he offer another alternative and back-off from his earlier stand. He would try to update my bios and then have another go at the new RAM. All the while I was looking at him and observing his antics and aware of the actions he was taking. He must have been thinking I was computer illiterate and therefore only use the computer by turning switch ON/OFF. After many blunder and mistake cause was trying to show off his skills and fast pace work rate, he finally manage to get the RAM working and the BIOS recognised the new 1GB DDR SDRAM. With the blink of an eye he ask one of the sales girl there to issue me a bill and sent me home. I was stun. I ask him was the RAM new or a used RAM for his testing purposes or etc. He gave me a "don't care" answer and mention its all lifetime warranty with Kingston module. Therefore no warranty card, no boxes, no marking or whatsoever.

Didn't want to stay there any longer cause its a small place (600sqmeter2) and smell like sardine already with more and more people. As long as my RAM are working alright then I don't care with other issues. So I make my payment and quickly left the place. Back home, I recheck the RAM with AIDA32 and found the module was SAMSUNG. Now I'm beginning to suspect what king of RAM he gave me. Still I ignore all this minor issue and then all of a sudden when I was working on the net and etc the system totally reset. Hmmm.......is it the RAM or the OS ? Now I'm in big trouble. There are many things inside the system and I haven't back up anything yet. Going to get to the bottom of this problem later this week.

Keling

The all important word was once used by an MP in Parliament and in DBP new dictionary. I didn't agreed with the word then but now I think it is relevant. Why !! The past whole week I have been jinx and kept meeting "Keling" who are arrogant, obnoxious and selfish.

First, as I was driving on a straight 2 lane road, all of a sudden there was this car who came out from the left and straight onto my lane. I mean what the F^&%&*^. My immediate response was giving the high beam signal as I was trying hard to brake. Luckily I did not knock into her car. However the exciting part wasn't over yet. After I overtook her (she still has the ass to drive like a snail) she has the guts to look at me and give me the "what the #$%$#$% you were doing" and shouting in her car. My response was "WOW" that was the most ugliest and disgusting creature I have ever seen. She was drop dead ugly and she was like going berserk. I'm not sure why "Keling" always drive like that. To top it all up why do "Keling" always act like they are crazy, bazooka or yakuza. They are always right and others are stupid. Why can't they behave and be compassionate and kind. Is it in their culture to terrorise others and do what they like ? Its like the whole world belongs to them only and therefore have more rights.

Second scenario, my door bell rung a few times. I went out to see who my guest was as I was having many guest a few weeks back. To my surprise there was a few "Keling" kid playing around with my door bell. If kid only also never mind but they were accompany by their mother and grandmother. Guess what was their response when I look at them. They pretend they didn't see me and keep walking away but look back once awhile and then stare at me as if "what the shit". I wasn't looking at an apology or what but just a smile and some gesture that her kids was very naughty or something. No not a single response but the arrogant "tidak apa" attitude. She just live a few houses down the road from mine. Hopefully they will move out soon since they are renting. Ever since they moved in a few years ago the place had been turn into disco and pub every now and then......sometimes till early wee hours. Police came once and had some conversation with them also no use.

Third, I had a acquaintance who told me he had a neighbour who had just planted a small bamboo tree in his own garden but the leaves are going over to his side of the house. Hence he is piss off and thinking of a way to fixed em or what ever to turn the jinx. Heard him say that for "Keling" the bamboo trees give bad luck and etc.

Why do "Keling" always have to be the Doctor, Lawyer or Policeman ???? Why Why !! Else they will become the society scum stealing metal, aluminium or whatever they can get their hands on. Just wish they will rot in $#%^# and get what they deserve. They are all bastard if you ask me.

Busy

Lately, was very busy with work, family and friends. Had my hands full at home and occasionally felt there wasn't enough time to make out of the 24hrs. Just not enough time for me to use. Every night I only have 5-6 hrs to sleep and that's the only time I can have total peace of mind.

My son lately is having a weird and irritating blinking eye syndrome. Not sure whether it is anxiety / habit / psychology or whatever but it doesn't seem to go away. If I'm not mistaken it has been 3 weeks now and I have taken him to see the consultant in THONEH (Tun Hussein Onn National Eye Hospital). Was disappointed with the consultant. Not to say I look down on local specialist but he wasn't very helpful not very friendly if you ask me. I had posed him many question and yet he was evasive and nor committed. By the way he was a UKM grad. I did called up earlier to specially ask for a child eye specialist but was ask to queue and see whoever doctor is available. Where was patient right and also the Health Act that the Health Ministry was bragging about. To me all doc's are a bunch of money grabbing, arrogant bas%^^&d. Where got compassion or heart from them.

So where does that leave me now. Going to see a second opinion soon.
