Did you read the headline above ? As soon as I had finished reading it, I thought .....crap. Let me tell you my very own experience. My family and I was out on a trip to Low Yat during the CNY as I had wanted to get a 2.5" Hitachi hard disk. I had search and did my homework and found that the best price I could get for that specification I wanted was from Low Yat........
Therefore, during the trip, my missus and my kids wanted to go to the toilet. My wifey and I was stun when the entrance fee for toilet in Low Yat is RM 0.50. I mean when has toilet prices also gone up to RM 0.50. The last I know was RM 2.00 for KLCC exclusive toilet and etc but for this normal ordinary toilet we were required to pay RM 0.50. Hmm......well its only RM 0.50 ...so I gave the money and ask wifey and my mom to go in first.
Later when they came out, my wife was very piss off. She went to the lady manning the counter and told her that she shouldn't collect any money at all cause the ladies toilet was filthy and in deplorable state. I understand her emotion then. If it was me I would had piss off too.....0.50cent to get you into a filthy toilet. Most probably the cleaners were lazy and prefer to sit on their butt whole day at the counter collecting money. Just what on earth kind of standard are they using to fixed the toilet fee at 0.50cent ? During the entire episode as I was standing outside the toilet waiting for wifey, I notice that many man and woman just walk in and out of the toilet without paying. Not sure whether they are the retail or sales people working in the building itself. Some doesn't look like it at all with their tie and slack and coat and etc.
I told my wifey not to be mad at them........its useless and pointless to get mad at them. What kind of reaction do you expect to hear from them. They are just cleaners with ........most if not no education or basic mentality at all. Foreign woman from neighbouring country especially are worst. Its really pointless to get mad at them. A waste of energy, brain cell and breath to talk to them. Worst was we are a little bit civilize and hence to make a scene or have a roll with them would only make us look like them......uncivilised and ........can't find the right word. I don't want to sound too arrogant or obnoxious. You get what I mean.
My family then decided to leave the place as it was beginning to get very pack. Huge crowd was hunting for bargain. We went next door of Low Yat .............Melia Hotel if not mistaken. We went into the toilet...........walk around and enjoy the CNY atmosphere. The best part was, the toilet use was free.........clean.........and right just next door to Low Yat. So there you go. Tell me why Low Yat is charging such an exorbitant fees for the use of their "SUPER DUPER FILTHY" toilet ?
