I'm not a regular blogger just occasionally wanna share some thoughts and ideas to the rest of the world. Hope you like what you see and written.....:))
Lately there was a lot of break-in cases heard around my neighborhood. Too many to feel safe and secure. It gives rise to fear and also insecurity. Last night I have heard some loud sound .........a loud bang..................something like somebody had trip on something. A shoes rack or a small cupboard. I ran down and check the back and the front, everyway …..thoughts ran wild. Could it be a cat, a squirrel or a big rat running around the house !!
Just last week, I heard from my mom that 1 of the house in my neighbourhood was broken into at around afternoon. Thief and robbers are very brave and bold nowadays. Hearing all this bad news are causing me phobia. It sends shiver right down into your spine.
Those cops are getting useless and lazy. They had just gotten a fat pay rise but yet the job performance is still substandard. I have been hearing positive news about them raising the academy intake, manpower, this and that but its all talk only. Just a few days ago I came across front page news about the cop logistic dept being con RM 5 million for imitation spare parts. I wasn'surprised by the news. I thought everybody in the country knows about it. If you are a Malaysian, there is no reason you wouldn't not known about it.
There was once, I took a cab from my place to KLIA on a business trip early in the morning. The cab driver was chatty and try to make some small talk with me. He then proceeded to ask my permission to deviate slightly from KLIA path into some cab terminal to pick up a ticket. While we were on the cab he told me that the cab he was driving always breakdown. Everytime parts are replaced by his cab company, the cab would only last for a few weeks. The fact is all the parts are being replaced are known to all as imitation and yet the charges are being paid for genuine original parts. All the driver and people on the ground knew about it but yet nobody came out to criticise or blow the whistle.
I believe all this bribery, con job and crime are just the tip of the iceberg. If only those big shot manning and steering the ship would really get on the ground with both hands then will they be able to understand what we ordinary citizen are going through. The point is there is a lot of hanky panky in the system. There is also many level of caste that exist even within the same race of people. The rich are really filthy rich while the middle and poor are struggling to meet ends meet. It's the case of daggling the carrot in front of the rabbit. Though the rabbit can still manage to bite bits and pieces, it is just a matter of time before the rabbit loses it insanity and break free and goes for free for all.
The family was left heart broken and to fend for themselves. As I was watching and as the stories unfold, it was very heart wrenching. The wife left behind the husband and her 2 grown up sons. Typical of any asian family culture, the father has no one to hang on to anymore. Previously the mother was the jewel in the house. Everything was done by the mother and everybody just took everything for granted. To make matter worse the kids are not too close with the father cause in asian culture men are not supposed to be friendly and get too close with the kids. Men are the bread winner while women are the home maker.
I was like delving deep into this character and understood his anguish. That feeling of loss and the importance of the dearest one you love. Its earth shattering and very real and emotional. To make matter worst, the father couldn't get over the death of his beloved wife and henceforth went into dementia and all kinds of illusion. The kids and the family unit started to break off and therefore the father was totally stress out and on the verge of collapse.
Nevertheless, as time passes by 2 friends came over to help out the family and try to make the sons realised the actual situation their dad was in. Finally the kids couldn't denied the problem at hand anymore and henceforth had to put family matter first before everything else.
To be honest, in a typical asian family, its good to have a balances of sexes too. Likewise in the workplace as well cause women are more caring, detail and above all patience. All virtue that men don't exactly possessed. I actually seen this myself with my current neighbour. There seem to be something missing with guys, man with man. We just can't pour our heart out with another guy and neither can we show any emotion. We need woman to balance up the emotional deficit and make up what we man lack.
I just hope that the best will turn out of it cause tonight is the final episodes. Actually if we all can get old together and died together, life would be wonderful and serene. Nevertheless, we all know that it's not possible. I can't imagine myself living alone in this world with no family, children and especially my beloved wife. I rather died first than to see my love ones leave me.
Things are not going to well for me lately. Been under tremendous stress with office politic, tenant and also my kids health. All the bad stuffs are popping out one at a time. It is really tough and really testing my breaking point. I am asking so many why why why question more than ever now.
Argh…..a lot of stabbing, shouting and sue here and there. What is the fuss all about anywhere if I may ask. All the local media are reporting about it and talking about it. So may I ask did any of the local news media published the "Doctored Picture" to enlighten the whole world and let every citizen to pass their own judgment and opinion. I didn't know anything about this until I try searching for it on the net and it was tracked to our PKR opposition party personal blogsite. At the first look I already felt the picture was a little bit weird and seem unreal. Must have been the lighting, the superimposed faces and my own instinct. It was my first glance of the picture and I could well already spotted the unusual feeling associated with it. Therefore, my first thought was this Tian Chua was trying to be funny and making a joke. Since the Atlantuya prosecution witnesses had already mention in court with regard to the existence of this picture, I presume what Tian Chua was trying to do was further emphases it.
After all, our dear Mr.Najib can take the 'tiap-tiap bulan bocor" (every month leaking) as a joke and brush it aside easily, I felt surprise by all the attention his comrades and kutu kutu are paying to the picture. Double standard again from everyone. Why are the newspaper giving only one sided comment from the ruling party. Why are there no pictures to be seen ? Is this fair to Tian Chua ? The way I see it, he was only trying to make a Mr.Bean trademark comment by doctoring the picture while the actual picture was seen by Atlantuya cousins. So does this mean Atlantuya cousin are telling lies and all her testimony are false and consider perjury ?
I hope people will use their head to think intelligently instead of just being a follower.
Finally, I am sure there are plenty of photos about with regard to Atlantuya companion and her escort. Just a matter of time to dig it all out from the rotten closet and dirty laundry basket. Unless the culprit are fast enough to have destroy all incriminating evidence.
Therefore, yes I agreed with the banking associations and pro-supporter on the needs for financial and risk intelligence gathering but at the same time I disagreed that all this important information should be held by a private entity. It should be regulated by the government, audited regularly or else the function taken over by BNM. By right I believe BNM should play an active role in this matter and to lead and manages all Malaysian financial status. In keeping up with times, all important personal and private databases are currently strictly adhering to ISM (Information Security Management) or data encryption. You just take a look at all those MNC's and all those big corporation. All of them have and are following to their own sets of rules plus adhering to international best practices.
Therefore, for P&C information with regard to the whole population of a country, it is best that this responsibility be held by a government agency. At least this way, we could ensure some sense of security and accountability. We don't close government agencies like private entity closing mee hoon stalls. Just my thoughts.
I know of a manager in my company who is being promoted to AGM last year. However, he wasn't successful because the previous Director didn't like him. Since the previous Director had left at the end of last year, things have changed. His luck is back and with the present Director who is a good buddy of him, he is back in the running for the promotion of AGM. Therefor the moral of the story is intelligence, hardworking and dedicated staff doesn't matter. All it takes to get promoted higher and higher up the ladder is being able to write yourself into the good books of your boss. Once he is please with you, you can have everything your way and nobody can say anything.
Thus, having this wind of change can turn a person's life, direction and his fortune. It's a real life story.

> Dr. Arun Gandhi, grandson of Mahatma Gandhi and founder of the
> M.K.Gandhi Institute for Nonviolence, in his June 9 lecture at the
> University of Puerto Rico shared the following story:
> ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~============
> I was 16 years old and living with my parents at the institute my
> grandfather had founded 18 miles outside of Durban, South Africa, in
> the middle of the sugar plantations. We were deep in the country and
> had no neighbors, so my two sisters and I would always look forward to
> going to town to visit friends or go to the movies.
>
> One day, my father asked me to drive him to town for an all-day
> conference, and I jumped at the chance.
> Since I was going to town, my mother gave me a list of groceries she
> needed and, since I had all day in town, my father asked me to take
> care of several pending chores, such as getting the car serviced.
>
> When I dropped my father off that morning, he said, "I will meet you
> here at 5:00 p.m., and we will go home together."
>
> After hurriedly completing my chores, I went straight to the nearest
> movie theatre. I got so engrossed in a John Wayne double-feature that
> I forgot the time. It was 5:30 before I remembered. By the time I ran
> to the garage and got the car and hurried to where my father was
> waiting for me, it was almost 6:00.
>
> He anxiously asked me, "Why were you late?"
>
> I was so ashamed of telling him I was watching a John Wayne western
> movie that I said, "The car wasn't ready, so I had to wait," not
> realizing that he had already called the garage.
>
> When he caught me in the lie, he said: "There's something wrong in the
> way I brought you up that didn't give you the confidence to tell me
> the truth.
> In order to figure out where I went wrong with you, I'm going to walk
> home 18 miles and think about it."
>
> So, dressed in his suit and dress shoes, he began to walk home in the
> dark on mostly unpaved, unlit roads.
>
> I couldn't leave him, so for five-and-a-half hours I drove behind him,
> watching my father go through this agony for a stupid lie that I
> uttered. I decided then and there that I was never going to lie again.
>
> I often think about that episode and wonder, if he had punished me the
> way we punish our children, whether I would have learned a lesson at
> all. I don't think so. I would have suffered the punishment and gone
> on doing the same thing. But this single non-violent action was so
> powerful that it is still as if it happened yesterday.

> That is the power of non-violence.
To these Japanese, the art of pretending is very important. No matter how insignificant or low class are the awards, all they want to do is obtain it. Then use some marketing and PR to spin it into a very glamorous and prestigious award. Only blind people or people who don't read much will buy into their ideas. If you are a knowledgeable person you will study the background of the award and what are those awards for. Are these significant or breakthrough research on an innovative product. Are they patented and are they revolutionary?
The answer to all the above questions are no. The changes to the product usually are cosmetic with the addition of air purifying features. What we are all doing here are just product development and not research. Every major decision and direction are handed down from Japan headquarter. You cannot change, dictate nor rectify anything without getting consent from Japan side. All of the Japanese firm operate on the same manner. Just look at Mitsubishi during the 80's with proton. It's the same scenario. They will not give you the technology and the know-how easily. The only technology there will give you is when it has already pass expiry date and very old. If you try to learn and pick it up from them, they will feel threaten and henceforth use all kinds of political plot to oust you or freeze you out of the company. Very political and knows how to play with psychology very well. No wonder, why they were so successful during WW2
FTA
While we are at it, let's talked about Mr.Rommel (EU Ambassador) to Malaysia. What did he say wrong in the first place? All he was guilty of was for telling the truth. Tell me, just which part of his statement was wrong? The fact is the NEP policy had been dragging the whole country backward into further development and expansion. Not only are EU going to find signing the FTA with us difficult but US, Aus, NZ and etc are all facing the same obstacle. There's just no fair play. The rich are getting richer and etc. Just look at those MNC's all over the country. Each one of them are helm by a puppet Malays as chairman. That is a fact and not hearsay or rumour. You have the NEP that stipulate 30% of ownership in whatever you do must be handed out to Malays. Why? Because its your father's land? Because you are poor? Well, there are many Chinese and Indian and kadazan and etc living below the poverty line. They need help too. So pls buck up and face the fact. Malays need to recognize this and wake up from their comfort zone and show some humanity. Every poor man or woman needs help no matter what kind of skin you are born with. That's the 21st century mentality and so called advancement in humanity should had reached. All this politician babbling about and portraying himself as gentlemen or grand old wise men are just clown. They are not worthy of being in the present position. Some are with cow brains, making sexist remark without having the slightest idea it will hurt other people or appreciating the diversity of opinion in this country.
