I'm not a regular blogger just occasionally wanna share some thoughts and ideas to the rest of the world. Hope you like what you see and written.....:))
The reason I feel a little bit embarrassed is because I never knew there are people out there who doesn't have self consciousness and are always trying to be outstanding. Unfortunately he doesn't realize though he was trying to be funny, but the jokes are not funny at all. It was like you are watching a B grade performance or the AFHV (America Funniest Home Video). It was totally out of line and inappropriate. He was asked to stand out and tell everybody (including MD's and top management) his name and introduced a little bit about himself. He deviated and talk about things which aren't appropriate like ……..Hi, my name is Eddie. You can call me Eddie or whatever. Then he elaborated on the "Whatever" meaning in a long winding speech and try to be funny and cool at the same time. If he had pull it off with flying colours then I would had gave him a clap and a pat on the back. But no, he ask the audience a direct question ………..what's so funny……..while giving a giggle and a smile.
The best part is I realize that in the society and the population I am working in, 80% of the population and society are having a pea brain. Nobody realizes it and on most parts, everybody else just goes along without a blink or self conscience. This make me feel and sense that I am alone in this world. My thoughts are so much different from the majority of my colleague. Perhaps it is coincidence or it isn't but what I know is that all of them are conservative Chinese educated. It's really weird I tell you. It's really weird the world we are living in. Perhaps the defect rate/ratio in this world is very high. To maintain our eco system in equilibrium, we needed high defect ratio and weird things to occur. If everything else is just as perfect as what we perceive it to be then chaos will occur.
From all that I had said, I still get lots of goose bump whenever some new fresh faces give some unconventional introduction. It scares the hell out of me.
